Clark Severson – Executive Producer

Clark Severson has a wealth of technical knowledge that comes from over twenty years in the video production environment. His honed skills run the gamut from field production lighting, sound recording to post production compositing and editing. His expertise has taken him to several countries as director of photography and he has given lighting workshops internationally. As owner/operator of Avant Productions, he has won numerous awards for their productions in children’s programming, ocean pollution, fund raising and promotional videos.

Olivia Klaus – Creative Director

Olivia Klaus’ career began with extensive travel throughout Central and South America, gathering stock footage and interviews for various non-profit organizations that serve poverty-stricken areas of these regions. Her work continued with the establishment of Plus 8 Video in New York City where she was part of the pioneering efforts in HD technology in the late 1990′s. Ms. Klaus’ production work includes numerous credits on documentaries, films, cable series and international programs. Her work has aired on MTV, E!, HLN and The History Channel.

Michael Belanger – Production

Michael’s career began in 1988 as the chief engineer for the City of Lakewood’s TV Facility where he carried the studio through format changes and broadcasts. His talents and ability carried on into 1998 as a freelance web designer and video producer on countless projects throughout Southern California. In 2006, he became part of Atlantic Pacific Media where he was in charge of video production and multimedia. Michael joined the Avant team in 2009 to be a key player in various aspects of video editing, studio and field production, flash authoring and scenarist DVD authoring.

Jeriann Young – Production Coordinator

Jeriann Young has been in video production since 1982. She has been a producer, writer, director, editor and camera operator. Starting out in news and documentary work in and around Minneapolis, MN, she earned her BA in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Minnesota. She then delved into productions in Louisiana where she produced shows in five languages for international broadcast. The weather of Southern California and the attraction to the ocean brought her to CA. In 1988, she was a vital part of the team that founded Avant Productions.
